At Valley Auctions, our straightforward consignment process is designed for your peace of mind. As a local company with a national presence, we guide you from the initial consultation through the final payment.

Consultation & Review
Contact us for a free consultation. A member of our team will evaluate your collection, discuss your goals, and help you set realistic expectations. Together, we’ll determine whether an outright sale or consignment is the right fit.

Agreement & Preparation
We create an accurate inventory and review the consignment agreement with you, including reserve prices and our competitive commission rates. Once the agreement is signed, we take possession of your items and handle staging, research, professional photography, and detailed catalog descriptions.

Marketing & Auction
We promote your collection nationally through multiple bidding platforms and our established network of buyers. Your items are presented with professional photographs and detailed descriptions, with auctions held online, in person, or both.

Payment & Settlement
After the auction, we manage the transaction and settlement process, then arrange your payment. Our team guides you through each step to make selling your collection clear and straightforward.

Quick answers to common questions about buying and selling with us.
You can register easily online for any auction. Look for the “Register to Bid” button on the auction listing. You’ll need a valid ID and a credit card on file.
A buyer’s premium is a percentage added to the final hammer price. This fee helps cover the costs of hosting the auction. Our current buyer’s premium is 15%.
Item pickup is scheduled after payment is received. We provide specific dates, times, and our warehouse address. All items must be removed by the stated deadline.
Our commission rates are competitive and tailored to each estate or collection. We provide a clear fee structure during your free consultation, with no hidden costs.
Yes, we offer pick-up services for larger estates or items. We schedule all pick-ups by appointment to ensure we can serve you properly.
